Motionstyles downloads usually arrive as a ZIP file containing your asset. Here's how to open them and what software each type needs.
Unzip first
Most downloads are ZIP files. Double-click the ZIP to extract it (built into Windows and macOS), then open the files inside.
What opens each file type
- Video templates: After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Apple Motion, depending on the template. Check the item page for the required app.
- Music & sound effects: WAV or MP3—plays in any media player or editor.
- Graphics: Photoshop (PSD), Illustrator (AI/EPS/SVG), or standard image files (PNG/JPG).
- Fonts: TTF or OTF—double-click to install, then use them in any app.
- AI: prompts and files you use with the relevant AI tool, described on the item page.
Still won't open?
- Make sure you've fully extracted the ZIP before opening files.
- Confirm you have the required app installed and updated to a recent version.
